Descrição de produto
Product Overview

The Foxboro IDP10 I/A Series Electronic Differential Pressure Transmitter is a high-accuracy industrial DP transmitter designed for differential pressure, liquid level, and flow measurement across a wide range of process applications. It uses a silicon strain-gauge microsensor to provide fast, stable, and repeatable measurement for chemical plants, oil and gas operations, power generation, and water treatment facilities.

The IDP10 supports analog 4–20 mA and optional digital communication such as HART and FoxCom, enabling remote configuration, diagnostics, and integration into modern control systems.

Its rugged NEMA 4X / IP66 housing, multiple sensor material options (316L, Hastelloy, Monel, Tantalum), and hazardous-area certifications make it suitable for harsh industrial environments.

Key Features

How It Works

The Foxboro IDP10 measures the pressure difference between its high-pressure and low-pressure ports. This differential force causes slight deformation of the internal silicon sensor. The sensor converts the deformation into an electrical signal, which is linearized, temperature-compensated, and transmitted as a 4–20 mA or digital signal to the control system.

For flow measurement, the transmitter can output a square-root scaled signal corresponding to flow rate.

Installation Overview
  • Mount directly to a manifold or process connection
  • Ensure proper orientation for liquid, gas, or steam service
  • Connect loop wiring and grounding per installation manual
  • Configure zero, span, damping, and failsafe modes
  • Verify output using a test meter or HART communicator
  • Optional: enable square-root extraction for flow measurement
